Alan Watts: What if money was no object? (x)

This is cool and inspiring and all but I’m reminded of that scene in Office Space where he’s like “not everyone can do what they love or there’d be no janitors” or something

I liked that line in Office Space because it was funny, but I don’t believe it at all! It’s more like you take the job as a janitor so that you can afford to keep your other job giving horseback lessons.

You could have a higher paid job in an office, but you might have to give up the 2nd job you love in order to have the time to get the office job in the first place.
